Dr. M. P. Chandran

Chairman

Dr. M. P. Chandran is a distinguished educationist, institution builder and visionary leader with over three decades of experience in senior leadership and management. His journey in education has been driven by a deep belief that meaningful learning must go beyond academic achievement to nurture confident, capable and responsible individuals.

As the Chairman of ALTIORA, Dr. Chandran brings to the institution his extensive experience in educational leadership and strategic thinking. His vision is to create an environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, express themselves and develop a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

At ALTIORA, his vision is to build more than a preschool-to create a nurturing beginning where every child is valued, every curiosity is encouraged and every experience contributes to the making of a confident, compassionate and future-ready individual.

Dr. Chandran believes that the foundation of a child’s future is built not merely through what they learn, but through how they experience learning.

Ms. Uma Oza

Uma Oza is a thought leader in education and human development, with over four decades of experience reimagining how individuals and institutions learn, lead, and evolve. Her work is guided by a deep belief that meaningful transformation begins within—and that the quality of our inner world shapes the systems we create.
At the heart of her practice lies the integration of Nonviolent Communication into leadership and learning spaces. She works with educators, leaders, and organisations to cultivate cultures of trust, empathy, and conscious responsibility—enabling a shift from compliance to commitment, and from performance to purpose.
Uma’s approach transcends traditional frameworks. She invites individuals and institutions to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters, unlocking clarity, authenticity, and sustainable growth. Her workshops, conducted across India and the Middle East, are known for creating powerful shifts in perspective, fostering deeper human connection, and enabling transformative action.
Her professional journey reflects a unique blend of educational depth and global exposure. She has pursued advanced studies in Teaching for Understanding and Coaching for Understanding at Harvard University, is a certified facilitator of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, holds an international certification in Theme-Centred Interaction (TCI) from the Ruth Cohn Institute in Berlin, and also in Theatre of the Oppressed.
Currently, Uma serves as Vice President at the Competitiveness Mindset Institute (USA). She is also a visiting faculty member at IITGN-X, Institute of Design, Nirma University, and a trustee of Sahar Waru, a women’s organisation.

Uma’s work is anchored in a simple yet powerful intention: to nurture conscious leaders and compassionate systems that not only succeed but also uplift.
